NOT BORING

I realized the other day that its been a while since I posted on here and theres so much to say.

I figure I start with the obilvious: Christmas! This year was quite a different one. I am now part of the working force and Lisa was here with us, this changed things quite a bit. I never realized how expenisve it is to buy gifts, its crazy, I thought "yeah, I'm working now I'm gonna get somethig for everyone, WRONG. I mean I bought stuff for most everyone I had hoped for but there were some who I was upset because I ran out of money. Kristin I will get your wall hangers soon, I get paid this week. Lisa I just dont know what to get for, and she doesnt know what she wants. Her Kids!!! But Christmas was fun, family, friends, we all had a blast.

This may still be oblivos: Brooke! We have gone so far in the short time we've been going out. And I know some of you are reading that and think SEX SEX SEX, but I assure you we have not. I just feel so perfect when I'm with her, like nothing coud ever go wrong, and nothing has so far so... I know someone is going to call me crazy and maybe your right, but if this is insanity I don't want to be sane. I tried to get her to come to our Christmas party but you know every family has something going on Christmas Eve. I hope though soon enough you'll all know her!

Still fairly oblivious: Bass Guitar! Andrew (the guitarist) and I have made leaps and bounds on writing songs. We have worked out a great system, I write the lyrics while Andrew writes the music. We have turned out some pretty cool stuff with just an unfinished poem and Andrew decding on the main riff. The coolest thing we got so far it called The Last Haven for Free Thought, its got a really cool austouctic sound, its slow and powerful. The whole song is just simple, I'm just happy it came together so well. Maybe I'll post it one here

It was a formal?

Ok so it's 12:30 am and I wanted to get a post in before bed. I just got home from Winter "Formal" with Brooke. It was amazing! We talked and laughed and just generally had a good time. She looked gorgeous. I'm sorry I didn't get a picture, she didn't want simply for the fact that she'd have to hide it from her parents. Hmm now that I have said that I feel I must explain. Well she too is Mormon, and not quite 16, almost but not quite. I wanted to take the picture even had money for it but I asked her if she really wanted to take them and decided she didn't want to, and me being the gentalman I am respected her wish and didn't force it upon her. I was kind of hoping to have something to put up on here of here and I together but it's just not how it worked out.

Ok now I am done being nice to this formal and talking about how great it was and how amazing my girlfriend looked and I'm gonna talk trash about this "formal"! For a formal it was amazingly informal. I'm not just talking "well this isn't as formal as I'd like it to be" no sir-ee. I mean the dj, this pill popping joke of a rap loving dj, played mountains upon mountains of rap. Again not like "oh this is some nice rap I could slow dace to this" rap, it was "man this is some bad rap and there are people ginding up on eachother" rap. Formal my ass. He played one "slow" song for every five rap grind on me songs. I didnt pay $50 so I could get in into a rap concert, I apyed $50 to have a nice romantic evening.

In all fairness, it was romantic though just because thats the kind of guy that I am. And, in case you are wondering, it is from my mom not dad. This was the very best date I have had, of the few I have had. We are planning too also get her sister to let us come over to her house and watch some movies. This was our plan for a while because I have never seen Lady and The Tramp and Brooke is making me watch it, not that I am opposed to it. Now I just got to figure out a movie I am going to make her watch. I was gonna go with Tombstone but I don't think that sounds very romantic. Any suggestions?

Well...

I think I found and commented on everybody...excpet Emily who keeps her private....I hope you all know who you're talking to cuz I'd hate to be like "It's Mike your nephew!" or "You just married my uncle!" It's really Mike Bobby's oldest Son. Yes the infamous oldest son of Robert Lawence Bogle! Who knows where I'll end up

A few updates

SO I realized that oly family are on this thing and I havent reached out to find them so after I post this I am gonna go out and find all 6 billion of them...on second thought that sounds like a lot of work so I think I'll just find the Bogle's/ex-Bogle's.

Ah the season of giving is upon us and I finally have a job! Believe it or not, I am going to be getting lots of people gifts this year!!!If you're not on my list its prolly cuz I hate you, ok well hate prolly isnt the right word more you dont live with me and my suply is limited.

Lisa is still out in Kingman and shows no signs of coming back. Things for her may be worse then I thought. After talking with Carl (yea I know crazy) I think it may be possible that with him is the best place for them right now. We offered Lisa a place to stay with us but it looks like she doesn't want to change herself and we cant for it upon her, unfortunately.

My bass playing abilties have improved exponentionally! My buddy Andrew has been playing, like I said for 11 years and he is finally getting leason and really knows what he's doing (dont hate, Slash has been playing for longer then I have been alive and he is finally getting leasons). So he's been teaching me and I've been accepting it for the most part. He has some trouble teaching and he learns in a different way then me, so he cant do much. Birmingham Blitzkrieg, my band in the making has a few songs hammered out, we still need a drummer but we've been taking a Pink Floyd/Primus sort of rought. Thats not to say you wont hear Led Zep, Beatles, GNR, Hendrix, and lots of blues, cuz I promise you will. Right now our big thing is called Oz, its a song I put together to make fun of The Wizard.

Its been over a month now and I'm still going out with Brooke (I know this sounds insignificant, but in my word a month is like a year). She makes me really happy. I just paid $50 to get us into Winter Formal plus another $20 for photos so that should be fun. Its exciting for me! This Saturday will be the highlight of my week and maybe my month. Oh one more thing, I just wanted to put this out there, but I finally know why kissing in the rain is such a romantic thing in movies. It really is romantic, and very interesting. Just thought I'd say that.

Peace, love, Rock & Roll
Mike
